Tulip Time Laps

-->My Other Blog (MyStapley.com) <--

I got these Tulips from ProFlowers.com. They arrived looking a bit sad but I remembered my Biology Teacher saying; "EVERYTHING happens at the cell... If your plants start sagging and you give them a good amount of water then the cell walls suck up all that H20 and actually help perk it up because the water is helping the cells structurally as well as nutritionally.... Anyway, I decided to train my webcam on these for about 18 hours and when I stitched it all together, what I saw was almost unbelievable.

Emylia & Austin Going to School

    Emylia and Austin both turned 4 years old this year and they have started going to Pre-School at Primary Elementary here in Okmulgee. Austin is rumored to have a little girlfriend and Emylia is making new friends every day.

    We had some major issues the first week with the bus. The school put her on the wrong bus and we had no idea where she was for about an hour. Amanda and I were pretty darn worried. She ended up in a daycare in Okmulgee where Austin coincidentally goes, so when Donetta picked Austin up she was a bit surprised to find OUR daughter just chilling at the daycare. Emylia didn’t even know anything was wrong!  Though, now we are now in the second week and running smooth. Emylia insists that her MOTHER wake her up for school in the mornings so Amanda has been losing some of her sleepy time. (She is just a good mom)
    We are having a blast watching our daughter experiencing all these new things. Emylia finally brought home her first homework assignment today which is a rhyme she has to memorize and recite for her teacher at a later date.
